The user interface is designed to resemble what you've been used to in previous versions of Windows while taking advantage of modern updates and trends, so hopefully things will be fairly intuitive.

Starting with the 2017 spring semester Canvas was officially supported in the Pollock Testing Center. Canvas exams were first piloted on March 3 and had some impressive statistics: A total of 440 students took their exams within Canvas, of which 82 took their exams directly in the Testing Center. Canvas delivered 281 concurrent exams for the same course.

To help prepare for the fall semester, LAT is seeking requests for software needed for teaching purposes in the LAT computer labs or classrooms. Per our policy, each software title must be requested every academic year. Software that is currently available may be removed if it is not requested again for the upcoming year.

For the Fall 2016 semester, the CLC managed lab Macs will be rebuilt with the next major version of OS X, named "El Capitan" (10.11). Because this rebuild requires all software to be reinstalled, we are asking faculty and students to submit their software requests for the upcoming academic year (Fall 2016 - Spring 2017). Please be aware that none of the currently installed Mac labs software will be reinstalled without being requested.
