The user interface is designed to resemble what you've been used to in previous versions of Windows while taking advantage of modern updates and trends, so hopefully things will be fairly intuitive.
That said, there a few key differences:
- Log Off: "Log Off" is now "Sign Out" (and is no longer found under the "Power" button). To Sign out, click Start, click the User button, and click Sign Out.
- Start Menu: the Search functionality has been improved in Windows 10. Try searching for your applications (e.g., type "Word") instead of navigating complex, nested folders.
- Applications Folder: if you prefer complex, nested folders, double-click the Applications shortcut on the deskop, which lists applications by category.
