Windows XP Labs -- Known Problems
Please report problems not listed here via the problem report form.
User Profile Problems
Problems connected with your user profile:
- Profile corrupted -- Invalid or corrupt files and registry keys can cause applications errors which occur only to you. Look to clear your profile to correct these problems.
- Profile Space exceeded -- You need to erase some documents. Start Windows Explorer and look at the C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data to erase large documents. Some applications store huge amounts of data in this directory, you can erase those subdirectories if you do not use the application any longer.
Open Problems
Problems we already know about and are working on:
- AutoCad problem -- Program does not recognize additional Line Types files, Hatch file, and Plot files. Work around is to reset your Autocad profile.

Problems which work in our labs different than on your personal computer:
- Adode Writer -- You can not create PDF file from within the program. Workaround is to print to the adobe printer.
- Microsoft Visual Basic Components -- You can not use all of them.
