Macintosh Hardware & Software Changes For the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 School Year
Every summer we spend much of our time performing hardware and software updates to the Macs located in student labs and technology podiums. This page shows the updates we have made during the Summer of 2008 in preparation for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 school year.
Hardware Updates
We purchased many Intel Macs for deployment in various locations:- 159 20" iMacs
- 14 Mac Pros
- 8 Mac Minis
Software Updates
Mac OS X 10.5.4 (Leopard) has been installed on all Student Lab, Technology Podiums, and Kiosk Macs.For a comprehensive list of the software installed check the Macintosh Software Currently Installed In CLC Labs webpage.
Of particular note is that TeamSpot, Unity, and ZBrush have not yet been installed.
