Connecting your Laptop to the Podium
Personal laptops may be used in Technology Classrooms by connecting to an external connection panel located on the podium. A VGA cable, small RCA audio cable, and ethernet network cable are located inside the podium for your convenience. Authentication with the Penn State network is only needed if you wish to use the Internet or other network services, such as the PASS or U-Drive space.
To use network services, your laptop must be configured to use Penn State Wireless.
To connect laptops to the wireless network:
- Check Technology Classroom wireless signal strength
- Configure your laptop based on the signal strength:
