File StorageMost computers in the Technology Classroom podiums have no floppy drive. Users are encouraged to store all files on their U-Drive space (250 MB of storage), their PASS space (1 GB of storage), a USB flash drive, or in Penn State's Course Management System, ANGEL. Zip disks and CDs can be used for backup purposes. If you have files on a floppy and wish to transfer them to one of the options above, please visit the ITS Help Desks in 2 Willard or 215 Computer Building. For more information about U-Drive or the PASS space, visit the Disk Space page.Specialized Software InstallationFaculty may request the installation of new, class-specific software onto computers in the computing labs and/or podiums. Software installation requests must be received no later than six weeks prior to the start of the semester.
