Steps For Using TeamSpot in Boucke

1.
A "Team
Captain" must first logon the TeamSpot Host to authenticate the host. The
TeamSpot Host software will launch automatically. 2.
Each user
should now logon their TeamSpot Client machine and wait for the TeamSpot
Control Panel to appear. · If you are using a personal laptop (either Apple or
Windows), you will need to be connected to the PSU VPN and run the setup from
the TeamSpot Host at: http://Boucke220-Teamspot.labs.win.psu.edu o You can only install the client software when the TeamSpot Host software is running 3.
Type your name
(i.e. Drew or Sarah) in the box next to “This Machine:” and click the Join
button. 4.
The TeamSpot
Authentication window will appear; enter your unique code, which is shown on the
large display. 5.
You can now
connect to the large display using TeamSpot · Start
Point Right from the Task Bar on the
right corner of display · Select Boucke220 screen · To access the large display, move your mouse to the top of
your display 6.
Please make
sure to log off the TeamSpot Host and Clients when you are done. |

TIPS When Using TeamSpoT

· TeamSpot
Clients can assume the Digital Identity of the user logged on the TeamSpot Host.
Be mindful of what you and your teammates are doing on the TeamSpot Host
machine. o
It is also
possible to show and share your desktop to the TeamSpot Host. Your teammates
will then have access to your machine. · o
Drag the selected document to the Participants section of the TeamSpot
Mini-Panel o
i. If you would like to send
a document to a specific participant, select the desired TeamSpot Client and
release the mouse. · Any documents that are "CrossWarped" (copied) to the large display can be found by accessing My TeamSpot Documents
on the Desktop. · The TeamSpot Host machine does not have access to
your network drives. Please send all work from the TeamSpot Host to the TeamSpot
Client machines when you are done. This step will save documents to your
network storage space (UDrive or PASS) in My
Documents\Tidebreak\Received · When
the work is complete, remember to save your team files. o Close the documents o
Double Click My TeamSpot
Documents on the Desktop o
Drag the selected documents to the Participants section of the TeamSpot
Mini-Panel o
When the Participants are shown, select the desired TeamSpot Clients
and release the mouse ·
Remember to LOGOFF both the TeamSpot Host
and Clients, when the TeamSpot session is complete. This will prevent
others from sending mail, charging you for printing, or deleting your files. o You can use PointRight from a TeamSpot Client to Logoff the TeamSpot
