Getting Started with Microsoft Office 2007
The first time you launch Office 2007, you will need to fill in some configuration information.
Then locate the Office Button in the
top left corner of an Office
Application. You can open, save, print, or close your documents with this
tool.
Next click the Getting Started tab
located
towards the
right of the Ribbon. Microsoft training resource within this feature

Save as PDF or XPS document in Word 2007
- Select Save As from the Office Button
- From the Save as type: pulldown menu box, select either PDF or XPS Document
- Fill in other options, and press the Save button
Save as Office 2003 document from Word 2007
- Select Save As from the Office Button
- From the Save as type: pulldown menu box, select Word97-2003 Document
- Fill in other options, and press the Save button
Set default format to a Office 2003 document
- Select Word Options from the Office Button
- Press the Save tab
- From the Save files in this format: pulldown menu box, select Word97-2003 Document
The first time you launch Office 2007, you will see the following windows. Enter you name and initials and press the OK button, then press the OK button for Privacy Options.
