CLC Windows Lab Problem Report
Problem with the following application has been reported in the lab.
Application
AutoDesk AutoCAD.
Description of Problem
Can not properly load additional Line Types files, Hatch files, Plot files. Acad.pat cannot be found.
Cause of Problem
When AutoCAD loads the first time, it copies the Support Files to the user profile, but does include this directory in the Support File Search Path.
Status
- 10-08-2003 Problem Reported
- 10-29-2003 Problem can be corrected by resetting profile (solved by HelpDesk)
- 11-07-2003 Closed - wrote program for user to update profile -gdf
Work Around
Run Start | Programs | Math & CAD & Engineering | Autodesk AutoCAD | Update AutoCAD Profile.
You can check or manually set the Support File Path with:
- Select Tools | Options
- Click the Files Tab
- Check the Support File Search Path
