Kodak DC4800 Digital Camera:
How do I transfer the captured pictures to my Disk?
- Launch Kodak Camera Mounter:
- Double Click the Software volume icon on the desktop
- Double Click the Image Processing Folder:
- Double Click the Kodak Camera Mounter icon:
- A message will appear stating "This application has no interface and runs in the background. Power on and connect the Kodak DC4800 Digital Camera to a USB port and its icon will appear on the desktop":
- As the message states, Power On the Kodak DC4800 Digital Camera, attach the camera's included USB cable to the camera and the other end to an open USB port on the Macintosh (the USB keyboard is the easiest USB port to access).
- Transfer the pictures from the camera to a disk:
- After a few seconds the camera's icon will appear on the desktop:
- Double click the DC4800 Zoom Digital Camera icon:
- Double click the DCIM folder:
- Double click the 100K4800 folder (this folder name could be different):
- Click and drag each picture file icon to your disk ("My Zip Disk") to copy the pictures from the camera to your disk:
- When you've transferred all of the desired pictures, unplug the camera's USB cable from the Macintosh and power off the camera.
- Use another image processing application like Adobe PhotoShop to print or modify the pictures.
- After a few seconds the camera's icon will appear on the desktop:
